Associate in Ministry

Two-year program Twenty courses: 60 credits  
All Associate in Ministry courses are 3 credit hours

Purpose
The Associate in Ministry program is a two-year academic degree for those who are interested in completing an undergraduate degree that will increase their knowledge and effectiveness by developing a more complete biblical and theological understanding. This degree is offered with an emphasis in practical and applied ministry. The Associate of Ministry program provides for a basic ministerial training with general education for persons working in various church and parachurch ministries. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of applied ministries, such as, missions, evangelism, counseling, discipleship and leadership.
 

Undergraduate Program 

Associate in Biblical Studies

Two-year program Twenty courses: 60 credits
All Associate in Biblical Studies courses are 3 credit hours

The Associate in Biblical Studies program is a two-year academic degree for those wanting a basic undergraduate degree that will increase their knowledge of the Bible and effectiveness in ministry by developing a more complete biblical and theological understanding. The Associate in Biblical Studies program provides studies in the books of the Bible along side of general education courses for persons committed to “studying to show themselves approved.” After completing this program, graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Bible, interpret Scripture’s original meaning, and apply Scripture to contemporary situations. This will enable graduates to participate and possible teach in the local church with groups like Sunday schools and small groups.

Undergraduate Program

Bachelor of Biblical Studies

Four-year program: 120 credits
Twenty-four Bible and Theology: 72 credits
Sixteen General Courses: 48 credits
All B.P.R. courses are 3 credit hours 

The Bachelor of Practical Ministry program is a four-year academic degree for those who are interested in completing an undergraduate degree that will increase their knowledge and effectiveness by developing a more complete biblical and theological understanding. This degree is offered with a major in Practical Ministry. The Bachelor of Practical Ministry program provides General Education, Biblical Books, Applied Ministry, and Theological training for persons committed to various church and parachurch ministries. Upon completion of this program, graduates will be able to demonstrate knowledge of the Bible, interpret Scripture’s original meaning, and apply Scripture to contemporary situations. This will enable graduates to minister within a local church or other group by means of leadership skills, evangelism, counseling, and service.
